Jim Dal Porto is a native Californian who has lived in Los Gatos for over 30 years.  He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, and has completed postgraduate work in education.  Jim has many years of construction experience and is a licensed California general contractor.  Jim has years of experience with home inspections and started his own business in 1997. 

Jim is a certified member of the California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA) and is active in the Silicon Valley ASHI/CREIA chapter, holding leadership roles for the past several years (currently chapter President of CREIA).  He holds other certifications in the home inspection field, including that of Certified Energy Inspector.  Continuing education in the home inspection industry is high on his list of priorities. 

Jim is married with two children and enjoys travel and a variety of activities.  He prides himself on providing quality inspections and communicating his findings effectively to clients.
